It’s the holiday season at the Disneyland Resort, and Disney California Adventure offers its own unique holiday celebrations, including plenty of special Disney characters with festive meet and greets and Christmas costumes. Here are the newest Disney character meet and greets that you can’t miss during the holidays in 2022.
Mirabel is back! Mirabel Madrigal from Encanto is back in her own mini Casita in the Paradise Gardens area of DCA. Her meet and greet starts around 10am everyday!
Viva Navidad! Just a few steps away from Mirabel, you can meet the 3 Caballeros (Donald Duck, Jose and Ponchito), Mickey and Minnie Mouse, or Goofy in their special Viva Navidad costumes. These characters rotate frequently throughout the day.
Frozen characters have returned! Anna and Elsa (and sometimes even Olaf) are meeting again in their beautiful spot inside the Animation Academy. Tip: The Arendelle royalty meet in their Frozen 2 finale outfits, in case your little ones would like to dress up to match them.
Adventure is out there! Carl Fredricksen, Russel, and Dug from Pixar’s Up are now meeting in the Grizzly River Run area. Keep your eyes peeled for some fun Easter eggs from the movie in this new spot near The Little Mermaid attraction.
