Ride the highway in the sky, the transportation of the future, the Disneyland Monorail! Currently using the Mark VII model of train, this monorail system was first opened in 1959.
As you glide along, the Disneyland Monorail takes you on a loop between Tomorrowland and Downtown Disney. You’ll pass by numerous attractions in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, as well as the main entrance to Disneyland. You’ll also pass through Disney California Adventure and the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa.
Besides being a fun attraction, the Disneyland Monorail is a useful form of transportation for guests of the Disneyland Hotel. Guests only need to walk a short distance from the hotel to the Downtown Disney station in order to zip into the theme park.
